Really depends on project and engineering setup . . . . Assuming it would be a road. In your are (oil fields east of you), the prices will be higher (even though they shouldn"t be, as much less work around). Around here for bid tabulations - the price will vary from $3 - $6 dollars yard. Salvaging gravel will certainly be the very least expensive, muck excavation is generally the highest end. Usual borrow would mean $4 - $5 3yd . . . . . This is come reroute a canal& Daylight the new Irrigation canal.. Many of the dirt moved will be the end of a hill 100& foot cuts. . No majorproblem with landowner. Land affected is not an extremely valuable.
