IGNITION move REMOVAL

(1) Remove an essential lock cylinder. Refer to previoussteps.

(2) remove 3 ignition switch mounting screws(Fig. 36). Usage tamper proof torx bit (Snap-OntSDMTR10 or equivalent) to eliminate screws.

(3) Gently pull switch away from column. Releaseconnector locks ~ above 7-terminal wiring connector atignition switch and remove connector (Fig. 37).

(4) relax connector lock on 4-terminal halo lampwiring connector and also remove connector (Fig. 37).

(5) Disconnect electronic "PRNDL" from move (ifequipped).

IGNITION switch AND vital CYLINDERINSTALLATION

If installing ignition an essential lock cylinder only, proceed to adhering to steps 2, 3 and also 4. Also refer to followingsteps 12 with 18. If installing both switchand crucial cylinder, refer to procedures 1 through 18.

(1) rotate flag (Fig. 38) on rear of ignition switchuntil in run position. This step should be done toallow tang (Fig. 39) on an essential cylinder to fit into slots(Fig. 36) within ignition switch.
